Ice Bars

Ice Bars are truly a way to elevate your event and take it to another level. An ice bar is a definite WOW factor for your guests! We can do a variety of sizes and customize your ice bar with your company logo, or even add an ice luge or two.

When creating an ice bar for you there are a number of elements that we can add to the design and with so much ice to work with you have more of a “canvas” to work with than a standard table top design. When we are designing and making your ice bar there are also limitations to what we can and can’t do. We have to make sure that the bar itself will be structurally sound as we don’t want hundreds of pounds of ice crashing down during your event. We also make sure that your ice bar will be level so your drinks are not sliding off the bar top. We do recommend placing mats/linens on the bar top to prevent this as well. An Ice Bar will provide a large conversation piece and will take your event to the next level.

Also with an ice bar, due to the size and measures we generally will include tear down in the price. Unless we are delivering and setting up your bar and you are ok to let it melt on its own, we definitely recommend including the tear down. Setting your bar up outdoors? It could last a week or more depending on the time of the year.

We have done a variety of designs for ice bar ranging from a small 4 foot bar for a surprise proposal to larger 8 foot bars for big events. As we continue to grow, we will be able to accommodate even larger sizing.

Why an ice bar? Why not just a regular sculpture? The reason you might want to include an ice bar at your event as opposed to just a purely decorative piece is for functionality. What kind of functionality? People have used ice bars for a number of different reasons from simply serving specialty cocktails, to seafood displays, to maple taffy stations, and everything in between.

Can I sit on the ice bar like a chair? Of course not you maniac! Sitting on a regular bar is already in poor taste, you’re classy (you’re at a party with an ice bar after all). Sitting on an ice bar though? Well, it’s a bad decision. How do we know? People have tried. How did it go? Bad.
